2011 marks the 20th Anniversary of First Baptist Church of Oak Park's "Journey to Bethlehem," an outdoor drive or walk by live nativity, featuring actors and animals. The five scenes include: The Annunciation, Mary and Joseph's Journey, Herod's Throne Room, The Shepherds' Field, and The Stable. The story of Christ's birth is portrayed without spoken words, but with haunting music of the period by SAVAE. Visitors come and go during the presentation, which continually repeats itself.
