Another older video of mine I thought deserved to be put up here.

This video features Xelloss in the role of Maureen, the freespirited actress/drama queen, and Filia as the level-headed, responsible Legal assistant, Joanne.

Ignoring later events in Rent, this song does a pretty good job of summarizing my feelings for this pairing.

Xelloss is a demon, who feeds on negative emotions and who can be injured by exposure to positive ones.

Filia is a golden dragon priestess who's people were almost rendered extinct by Xelloss.

Why on earth do people think they make a good couple? Xelloss isn't even CAPABLE of feeling love, or lust, or infatuation. To do so would be like suicide!

So anyway, enjoy this little Xelloss/Filia argue-fest.

Because it's always fun to watch Xelloss and Filia argue, eh?

I like love-hate couples, they're my favorite. I can't imagine these two being lovey-dovey or anything liek that but potenial for something is there. Like grudging rommance as oppoosed to traditional happily ever after rommance.

It's really interesting to read all the different opinions people are giving me about this couple.

I really don't pay that much attention to Filia, so I can't speculate on her feelings, but I think that Xelloss as, a sort of professional respect for her by the end of the series.

I agree with you that Xellos and Filia are not a couple. But they do seem to have developed some kind of friendship or at least cooperation at the end of the series. What I do want to say, is that I disagree about Xellos being unable to feel happiness. He can't stand other people's happiness, too true. But there is a reason he likes to amuse himself with tricks and that he enjoys tea and cake. But yeah, I don't think those two are in love.

Well, it was established that Mazoku feed off of negative energy.. so if pretending to be human and pulling off his tricks annoys his companions, I think Xelloss would think of it like dinner theatre.

It is true that good emotions like love aren't good for Xellos, but how can one know what hate is without first knowing love? One without the other is imposible, so Xellos must be able to feel good things too. After all, Shinzoky feel hate. Besides, Filia doesn't show him much love, they're always fighting. Great AMV!

To answer why people make think they make a good couple here's why I think they'd be a good couple. Ever hear the expression, "bickering like an old married couple" Well they're old and they do bicker like an old married couple xD Thats why I think that though xD hehe.
