what the tool dia and the rpm give you a sfp of 98. where do you put the material.
303 is different then alum so i dont under stand the first part.

Calculated took the position that most machinists/machine setters rely on their tool supplier’s recommended start settings and would enter those in the Machinist Calc Pro to calculate RPMs and Feed Rates, though we do understand the potential value of having general material specs built into the product as well. We appreciate your feedback and have added it to our product change database for further consideration.

Dear Iron1215 - We hope this helps. Regarding the first example in the vid:
- Enter 750 and press [RPM] key
- Enter ½ inch or .5 inch and press the [Diam] key
- Press the [Cut Speed] key to calculate sfm of 98 feet/minute.
Our speed and feed calculations assume the user uses recommended start settings from the tool supplier for a given material being machined, materials are not built in at this time.
