Muay Thai is superb. Far superior for combat than any style of tkd.
ITF England were in the top 10 teams in the world when I was part of the team (not because of me!). We were never the best, but we were good. Recently however, and since the splits in the ITF, all 3 ITF teams suck. As for Asian teams, North Korea are very good, other than that, the Asian teams are good, but still behind European teams. Poland are the best in the world and have been for some time.

@monkeypissyellow can iask you something, what do you think about muay thai, how about self defense, isaw some tkd has a very good kick too, like stephen tapilatu and stuff, i need ur opinion, i'm not trying to be mean, but england dont have a good team of ITF, you should check on the asian one, tell me what u think

The guy has a point. I was in the ITF England team back in the late 90's. I now train/fight in MMA.
NOTHING in all my years in tkd meant shit in MMA, it was shocking to see just how useless tkd is for real combat. At first I was gutted, I use to defend tkd to the death, but the fact is it's pretty useless. don't wish to upset anyone, just telling it how it is.
WTF is even more useless (if that's possible)
