And so, a little over 3 years later, the CEO's "vision" comes to full fruition in New Meetup. Which, contrary to the "personal democracy" philosophy that Heiferman kept blabbering about, was sprung secretly on paying customers. And it SUCKS!!!! Hope you enjoyed playing God, Heif, because your site is doomed now.

Hmm...early next month. He nails it on the head, the one current deficiency of meetup as a political organizing tool is that the coordination of meetups in different locales needs to be strengthened. As a Ron Paul supporter, I hope this will aid our efforts!
