Engl Screamer 50 Solo Tone

Random noodling with my Screamer 50 Combo. Webcam mic, so the the sound quality isn't that great.
Lead channel hi gain mode.
Bass: 9 o clock
Mid: 11
Treble:12

lead presence was all the way off and the gain cranked. Fender Strat with Dimarzio Pickups (HS2 neck and Virtual Vintage Solo Pro in the bridge).

The Dimarizos are pretty low output and I'm not using a boost pedal.

I see shows all the time with players using 50 watt amps. It's all about miking.

@topografer If you are, just have them provide you with a PA system, and mic the sucker up. I would not trade this bad boy's tone for 50 marshall stacks!

Hello again i have a question for ya. After this summer i will have collected the money i need to get this amp. Do you know if it's better to take the head with a closed back cab or the combo version which has an open back cab? There is no money issue at that. Thx for any answer

... I'm using the relay jack on my G-Major + a Roland FC300 foot pedal to switch amp channels.

Most standard 1/4 stereo foot switches will work too.

I agree engls have great voicing. I would like to correct you 50 watts is enough for every situation except if you are playing in a stadium
