I just wanna thank miguel cotto for making me realize this. I mean damn, all these years I was hating at some fighters saying that they sucked after theyve been defeated (Eric Morales, Tito ortiz, Rashad Evans, Juan Marquez, , BJ penn, Marco Barera, etc)

Well I don't think it's the fact that Filipinos aren't accepted. Filipino Immigration goes long way back in the US, and lets not forget that even in the boxing world, there were already well known Filipino legends like Gabriel Elorde, Pancho Villa, and Ceferino Garcia. Infact many would say that Filipinos are too integrated.

I think the Backlash comes mainly from Manny's rabid fanbase, usually made up of Filipinos. They could get a little annoying and ignorant. And I'm Filipino too...
