The hospital I work at has those same LifeAlarm speakers like in that video, but they are on 2903 light plates. Some other areas have 4903 speaker/strobes. The panels are a Simplex 4100 (for the renovated areas and all fire alarm speakers) and a Simplex 2001 (for the older area initiating devices and 2903 light plates, which blink on Fast March Time.) I think it does the same Code-3 tone as that 4100U system does.

@Gb755c It never played a message because I don't think it was voice a voice evac panel. It was just tone specifically a tritone (as in the interval of an augmented fourth on the notes A4 Eb5). I never found out what kind of system was installed. I know for a fact that it was installed and maintained by ADT especially since I remember seeing technicians working on it for a whole day. I think it was some sort of Unimode panel. Since then I know the school upgraded systems.

How are the Simplex Speakers mounted?
why are there no strobes ? And just for know, is that there are floor drains (to prevent a flood, in case of sprinkler activation) ?
thanks you.

What did you mean when you said "it's a little shaky but it'll have to do"?
