Cancelled PC-FX game, FX Fighter 1994 - Sound

This is footage of a cancelled PC-FX game , FX Fighter. It was obviously a prerendered game and you just pressed a button when the bar went high enough.

A good attention getter but a poor game, and cancelled.

and this is why 2d fighters will always be superior. unless it's vf, that game ran on lockheed martin's technology and didn't need to use fmv.

Man, I remember seeing a caption of this in Gamefan magazine back in about 1994 and I was PSYCHED about the PC-FX, I literally wanted to get one when it came to North America (which it didn't, and now that I see what kind of games actually came out for it, I'm glad I never got one). I thought this game would be like Virtua Fighter or Tekken but better, unfortunately it was like Battle Heat but not as cool.
