  • Is Netflix a service you automatically get on XBox Live for being Gold?

Or do you still have to have the 8 bucks a month payment?

  • @XenoSpyro - It isn't. You have to pay no matter what.

  • Man, I miss going to the local Hollywood Video store with my parents and siblings. Lots of happy memories of driving there and picking out a VHS (DVD later on) for our usual movie nights. It was a sad day when I found out it was closing. Sure, Netflix and cable is convenient but it is certainly not as satisfying as going to the rental store in person. BTW, Netflix SUCKS unless you have amazing internet.

  • I'm not at all surprised. When I was very young my family rented movies at a Blockbuster at Bathurst and Eglinton in Toronto. Now most of our rented movies come from Videoflicks, a non franchise video rental store on Avenue Road. Also many Rogers Plus stores allow you to rent movies. We rent there sometimes. They're doing ok. There must be something else about Blockbuster that resulted in its fail.

  • So that's why the blockbuster in my town closed down :O

  • I remember when I was little my mom used to take me to Blockbuster and let me pick 2 movies or whatever and she had me watch them twice because they were due two days later. I think that was the biggest flaw-you had so little time to watch your movie that it almost felt forced. You were like, 'I't got to watch this before I have to bring it back!"

  • @dairr11 LMAO. You're wasting you're money bro.

  • Lol netflix suck. I'd rather go to blockbusters any day.I still pay blockbusters monthly.

  • I love watching your old videos...

  • so many memories from blockbuster. my childhood is now gone!

  • According to my 3DS, i have more than 200 HOURS clocked into netflix. That's more than my max hours spend on a single save file in POKEMON, witch is my favorite game.

  • rest in peace...
