  • @silvrbeatl I found the same thing but worked out that if you change the quality or resolution setting (above and to the left of the number of views) to 480p it actually syncs up. I have no idea why, or if this is will fix it for you, but give it a go.

I just read a third of the book but I am already fascinated and it enabled me to look at my own story with anorexia in a totally new and 'sane' way. I never read something more helpful and healing. Yes I regret, that there is no translation to German - so many women here under the regime of anorexia could benefit from it. Also I regret that 'narrative therapy' is almost unknown in Germany.

  • The sound will sync up if you watch this video in the 480P mode. Click on the 360P icon on bottom right and change to 480P.

  • The sound is off with this video. The timing of the sound was not matched up with when people are talking. y'all need to fix this!

  • @westico311 Wow its great you have drawn so much out of it. All power to you. They drew on very tribal influences for it. Disclosure can really only be made when someone feels comfortable. You have to relate. Its fantastic. Contact me personally if you like via you tube.

  • @westico311 Yeah I havent met him though. I think Michael White his co-creator died.

  • no I expect you dont get it

seems you are one of the lucky persons living and studying so close to David Epston who wrote together with Richard Maisel and Ali Borden the book "Biting The Hand That Starves You".

so let me tell you as an 'insider' that is approach is for people fighting with anorexia the most power-and helpful way to get over it, to find back to the person they are, to get their life back from anorexia and to feel healthy, already during therapy. There is the feeling of being sane and the therapist never gives her the label 'mentally' ill. She is respected and her problem is externalized - something essential in the work with anorexic persons.
