this is a video that i put together,with no help,about my grandads new car,a 1937 austin 7!!
this was our first drive in his new car,and it reminded me of the song from the italian job,on days like these by matt monroe,so i added it,and it fitted insanly well.
it was beter then the sound of the car, cause that car didnt have sound proofing ,so the sound was biblically loud!

  • Lambo through the Alps, or Austin 7 thou a cloudy UK, who cares? The song is brilliant, and the images just as evocative. Well done for matching the two.

  • That is a wicked car. Love it.

  • Ace car. I was worried the video would end with a top-speed car crash in a tunnel...

  • Very cute, nicely cut & the music really fits...

Now do you have any shots of your granddad STARTING his A7? I've just started research... Thanks for your movie :)

  • Not quite the Lamborghini as seen in The Italian Job, but a trusty Seven is probably just as much fun - shame you weren't able to film on location in the Italian Alps - love it.

  • YAY!! Its this music from The Italian Job

  • Dude! You can be 14, 18 or more, but both of your taste (your Grandad's in cars and yours in music) are simply GREAT!

    Thanks for sharing!

  • Perfect summer driving: lovely car, well suited to the music. Thanks for posting.

  • He thought so too, unfortunately his freind also had one. Naturally in the late fifties spares were hard to get so they tossed a coin for it. The car was probably disected for spare parts in the 1960's.
