On March 5, 2008, the United States Government called a flood into the river of the Grand Canyon. In hopes of restoring the ecosystem, they poured around 50 million galleons of water into the river.

@changewasalie you realize that most any given dam holds back at least 100,000 gallons of water, that's no itty bitty dam, if the dam there is the Hoover dam, then it is holding back 9 trillion gallons of water, itty bitty dam my ass. That has probably absolutely obliterated the once thriving ecosystem there.
