@srprasad lol ok mr free thinker

@tannumyjaan I am fine. I don't need any check up. Thanks for the concern. I am a free thinker unlike you. Are you some blind believer of what this anglicized congress sycophant is saying ? He justifies MF Hussain's controversial Hindu paintings but condemns the danish cartoon which makes him a hypocrite. Hence my previous comment.Hope that answers your question. Peace !

@srprasad Since you agree with Mr hitchens.. i wud have the freedom of speech to abuse u as far as my creative slur juices wud allow me to !! and if lets say hypothetically, i was a smarter individual.. and u didnt have the intellectual flexibilty to make a comeback ( also hypothetical), does that take away ur right to feel offended.. We live in a world, where rational thought has completely supplanted the right of the "average human to feel in a way that is consistent with his average beliefs!
-
@srprasad Mr Prasad, I think u need to get yourself checked !

@Jotto999 So granting the privilege of freedom to a man wthout foresight is akin to letting lose a rabid dog ! A normal harmonious society itself is governed by the laws of psychology, where humans consider each other to be equal and autonomous beings and all freedoms that the people enjoy are bound by these unseeen forces that work behind the scenes. Unregulated and uninhibited freedom for the "deviant"ones that cannot feel these forces at work is clearly asking for trouble !
-
@Jotto999 "Sir/Madam I think ur argument is idiotic" Yah, One could agree with your views if we lived in a post apocalyptic world full of zombies and soulless psychopaths.. While the distal repercussions of certain actions can be hard to judge, "normal" human beings are programmed to empathise, courtesy the spindle neurons ( the workings of which, u can google at ur own leisure). So while the hitch might be a reputable and intelligent speaker, his words reek of folly !

I've always been impressed with Mr Tharoor and I hope re runs for Sec. General at the next opportunity.

If you know very well that a cartoon will cause a group of people to behave like animals, that is all the more reason to publish such cartoons. Those people should be weeded out, exposed. But we have to remember, these are "Muslims"; they're thugs. Imagine if America's ruling class was composed of it's mafia underground - that's the Middle East. In the M.E., the thugs aren't in the underground, they're the leaders. Like any mobster, they put out hits on people who threaten their business.
-
If something inflames an extremist, chances are it's something that needs to be said.
The prophet Mohammad can suck my dick after I fuck Jesus Christ in the ass.
If you take offense at that statement, fine, say something about it. You are free to do so. Can't stop me from saying it.

Tharoor's argument is idiotic. You can't predict the reactions of everyone in the world, nor should it even matter. For one, you can't possibly expect discussion and vocal exchange of any productive kind without someone being offended here and there. And second, if something offends me, I still have the decision of how to respond and react - well, if I'm level-headed that is.
