Press Conference: Elizabeth May and Gordon McBean on the Effects of Climate Change Upon Canada

Green Party of Canada Leader Elizabeth May held a press conference with Dr. Gordon McBean on November 18th, 2011 concerning the potentially devastating effects of climate change on Canada in the coming years. A special report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) was released earlier in the day on this topic from a global context, called Managing the Risks of Extreme Events and Disasters to Advance Climate Change Adaptation (SREX).

Dr. Gordon McBean is a Canadian climate expert who recently became President-elect of the International Council for Science (ICSU), a non-governmental organization devoted to international co-operation in the advancement of science.
