  • The Peanut Butter Solution is 2nd in the Tales for All (Contes Pour Tous) series of children's movies created by Les Productions la Fête.

The first one was about a band of kids waging snow ball war on some bullies who attack everyone with snow balls. They end up building a full on castle/fortress out of ice and snow. It's also really weird.

There are around 22 films ranging in time from 1984-2004

  • My strongest memory, by the way, is the kids finding the invisible string with a kind of dowsing rod/string detector they made out of cloth tied around a stick. So weird.

  • I thought this movie was a dream, for years. I'd describe it to friends who all thought I was crazy. Finally, after a lot of research, I found it was real. Finding out it was a real movie was as surreal as trying to remember it, because - as you said - everybody seems to think it was a dream.

  • I just watch your intro bro, "HEY GUYS" lol

  • @PuppyZwolle The series that "the peanut butter solution" is apart of is called "Tales for all" (or Contes pour tous), it's a french canadian series of films produced by La Fete, a film company based in Montreal. It's basically a children/family series. Some of them are strange fantasies, like this film is.

  • @goldeybombers That is correct.

  • In 1990 when I first saw "The Peanut Butter Solution" on video, I also saw a mystery story called "Mystery on Fire Island". It starred 'Blanche' from the Golden Girls, two kids, and some mysterious diver that was smuggling paintings rolled up in his pretend SCUBA tank. There was another about some treasure hunt where some kids find an old map that leads them to a beach, where they dig up an old bell and some underground stairs, then find the treasure. Does anyone recall these two movies?

  • Dude, if Celine Dion did the music, and it came out in Canada--it's FRENCH CANADIAN!!!!

  • he was playing soccer, not baseball!

  • damn memories.... I remember thinking the younger sister was so much older than me I'm 24
