man people think ford's are slow because of they're Ford mustangs GT....from all the races i've been in at the track. i learn from experience. when i see a 03 cobra, Lightning, Saleen Mustang, it makes shivers go down my back, people i am a die hard chevy fan, but do NOT under estimate ALL ford models....well technicaly (Special Vehicle Team "SVT") and Saleen lol but still, they're fast lol

The only reason that the vettes are fast us weight the zo6 with 450 you say runs 12.s okay the camaro with 425 runs 13s and the mustang shit on them so if the vette had that weight there would be nothing touching the Stang o and the boss 302 11.75 stock Chevy you suck and 10.08 134+ super snake at just about 3800 is fast take 500 of and the zr1 will lose even more

I hardly call Longtube, CAI and Tune modded. With that your probably adding about 50hp to the crank which brings the GTO to 450 crank horse which translates to about 374 hp to the wheel on the LS2 because of the IRS. Thats almost a 100hp difference between the two. Throw a S/C on the GTO, and it will be a race.

@jdavis707070 Search video supercharged GTO vs 03 Cobra. The GTO is s/c with just 5 psi, and putting down 439 rwhp the Cobra is putting 514 rwhp, and it could not beat the GTO. The best it did was it started to slowly pull in one race, but the GTO was pretty much door to door the other two races. That GTO with just 440 at the wheel would beat the stock GT500.

I'm glad SVT can build cars that don't get the boot from the production line in less than two years. Not to mention the most bang for the buck once you figure out how much money you'll save with an engine that already comes forged from the factory. Bolt on gt500's make around 680hp with minor bolt on's and a port job, with room left for twin screw, turbo, or nitrous. So don't give us that, " Supercharge the GTO." crap. SVT engines are built around boost, so your ls2/3 won't win a boost war stock
