Spring peeper frogs create a racket in a pond located at Shaw Nature Reserve in Gray Summit, MO. Four turtles are on the log, apparently immune (or amused) by the noise around them.

Between the noise of the peepers, and seeing a flash of blue fly by--meaning that bluebirds are in the area--these are signs that spring is just about here.

  • I love that sound--I wish I still lived in the country and could hear the frogs at night!
