Ehm, could we have it in real English with proper pronounciation,

intonation, stresses and pauses, please? ;-)

This makes it fairly easy for us in Denmark to learn E. We "mysteriously " seem to know half of the basics in advance - verbs, nouns, adjectives and prepositions - as well as the basic grammar (without "do" & "-ing") So to some extent it's more like expanding our own language ;-)

e.g. Vi kan se dem nu - de er der! = We can see them now - they are there!

Han skal komme over til os [us] = He 'shall' come over to us.

Vil du synge en sang for mig? = Will you (thou) sing a song for me?

Gostaria de PARABENIZAR a maior e melhor TORCIDA DO BRASIL; ... que esta sempre presente onde o CORINTHIANS estiver e do jeito que ele estiver! na Bombonera mais de 50 mil Argentino contra 11 jogadores e 2,900 torcedores ... a raça e o equilíbrio foi o ponto forte hoje a noite.

I like a bit more enthusiasm when I am being read a book... All we need is Robert Downy Jr. and Jude Law to read this to us make the cycle complete

I act. do know that, and I was just joking, bec. he sounds so mechanical, toneless, fast and compl. lacks a feeling for the E atmosphere.

US E is in many ways closer to the "original" ( e.g. Rs & Ls + some vowels ).

Anyway I am not E., so I am normally more of a neutral in this respect ;-)

Btw. it would be more correct to say that (middle) E is a hybrid between this

WG ( + Low German ) and the NGc Norse ( "old Danish" ) - tons of basic words & grammar - with a French & Latin layer on top.

Middle English and Modern English are basically evolved forms of a hybrid of a West Germanic language (Old Frisian) and a descendant of Latin known as Old French. However, MY vernacular form of an evolved hybrid of a West Germanic language (Old Frisian) and the degenerate descendant of Latin known as Old French is better than YOUR vernacular form of an evolved hybrid of a West Germanic language (Old Frisian) and the degenerate descendant of Latin known as Old French!
