Jimmy Stewart and Paulette Goddard star in a loopy 1941 musical which was produced by FDR's son James. Stewart once called it the worst movie he ever made but part of that may have had to do with his not getting along with Goddard who was Chaplin's girlfriend at the time. Take a look, it reminds you of a Mel Brooks film, certainly an unintended effect at the time. The songs are bizarre and everyone seems to be having a great time.
