Stage Warriors 2010

"Stage Warriors 2010" - The international championship of show fighting and theatre fencing is going to take place at Kesterburg near Münchhausen in Hessen/Germany from 11th to 13th of June 2010.

After three successful championships with participating teams from Italy, Netherlands, France, Switzerland and of course Germany, Stage Warriors is going to start the next round of battling at a new venue.

This new venue is the Kesterburg near Münchhausen in the district Hessen in Germany. At the same time there is the Kesterburgfest, a medieval market. The championship is going to take place centered in the market.

Teams who like to stay over night and camp in this historic ambience are friendly welcome.

The team of Stage Warriors would be happy to welcome participants from all kinds of medieval-groups, theater-fencing, living-history actors and all other teams who like to show their show fighting and theater-fencing skills. They have the opportunity to get assessed by a professional jury. The teams can learn how good they really are and what they could improve to get even better and more successful.

The participating teams are going to be assessed in the categories "beginners" and "advanced". The international jury is going to check different parts of your show like acting, battling and clothing. It doesn't matter if the style of your team is based on the early 8th or the late 17th century. The only thing that matters is your ability..
