EEPROM's corrupted. It has a CR2032 battery on the main board just like a computer. remove the battery, replace it and reflash the firmware.

Does anyone have the CME VX8? Can you tell me what it means when the display shows blocks on the first line and most of the lights are lit? My computer can detect the usb from the VX8, but I'm not sure it's working. Any comments would be appreciated.

Hey I am very interested in this CME VX8, for use with a PC based and Nuendo daw system. But the CME's have gotten slammed on gearslutz etc. now that it's been a while, can you speak to your overall happiness with this unit?

I don't doubt that for a second, considering it's CME, but the one I tested worked fine.
