CEREC Stories - Meet Caitlin
Fractured Veneers
Caitlin presented to Dr. Darren Greenhalgh's office in Mill Creek, WA. She is a flight attendant and had an accident at work where she fractured previously placed veneers on tooth #7 horizontally and vertically on tooth #8. Additionally, Caitlin was unhappy with the shade from her previous veneers -- she wanted a whiter shade.
As a flight attendant, Caitlin's schedule was very demanding and a nightmare to figure out. When she presented, she only had one week before she started a month long work trip that took her out of town. Dr. Greenhalgh wanted to take care of everything in one appointment, but between his schedule and Caitlin's, they could not work out a convenient time. Instead, he split the appointment between two visits. He prepped Caitlin for CEREC restorations the morning after her walk-in and then designed, milled, and stained and glazed the restorations at lunch. He was able to cement them later that same afternoon.
Caitlin was ecstatic about her new CEREC restorations. She got a beautiful new smile, the color she always wanted, and it was all done before she had to leave on her extended work trip.
