Jack Wilhelmi and I went on a joint venture and decided that a 50% cub ARF from Bill Hempel sounded to easy and fun. So here is its maiden flight. We did our check out in front of John Board for our AMA waiver to fly. As off yesterday we have 12 flights. Will post a new video with smoke next time we take it to the field. All Futaba Radio gear, DA170,Tru-Turn Spinner.

@JOCKATEO No, it isn't true usually. If you do not live in the United States you need to ask your Civil Aviation Authority for local rules and regulations. If you live in the U.S., then you need no license. I do not believe that RC aircraft show up on radar.

And another thing, you should never taxi back towards the pit area where you have spectators as in the event of the throttle having an unexpected problem would have serious consequences !!!!
