Hands-on with Google+ for Android tablets

MobileBurn.com - Google finally released a proper tablet version of its Google+ app for Android today. The new app features a new light-colored theme and interface that takes advantage of the larger screen real-estate offered by a tablet. The tablet version features a side-scrolling feed as opposed to the vertical feed seen on the phone versions, but it still has all of the other functions that Google+ users have come to know and love. The notifications system has been updated for both the phone and tablet editions of the app, and both versions also get access to the new Events function in Google+. You can download the new Google+ app for Android from the Google Play Store now. Google says that a version for the Apple iPad will be available in the iTunes App Store in the near future.

I had meant to say iPad at the outset, sorry about that. To be clear, this most recent redesign is not yet available on the iPhone, but will be coming to it soon, so I wasn't entirely incorrect.

Me too :) except when the screen cracked when i dropped it on the floor, now its just in its case being used as a mousepad. true story
