Singing by Snatum Kaur.

It's by Thy Grace that I sing Your Holy Name
It's by Thy Grace that I feel Your Holy Name

Some day the day shall come when all the glory shall be Thine.
People will say it is yours, and I shall deny, not mine.

Peace to all, Life to all, Love to all.

This track is dedicated to Peace on the planet. It draws from the Sacred names of the Infinite Creator as represented by the Muslim (Allah), Christian (Jehova), Hindu (Rama) and Sikh (Sa Ta Na Ma) faiths.

Life is a pilgrimage where man drags his feet along the rough and thorny road. With the Name of God on his lips, he will have no thirst; with the Form of God in his heart, he will feel no exhaustion. The company of the holy will inspire him to travel in hope and faith. The assurance that God is within call, that He is ever near, will lend stength to his limbs and courage to his eye.
Sathya Sai Baba

"You may forget any item in your daily life. But never forget namasmarana (repetition of God's Name) and nama sanskirtana (singing God's Name). The divine Name is eternal. Hence, constantly contemplate on the divine Name."
Sathya Sai Baba

"There is only one caste of humanity, the cast of humanity. There is only one language, the language of the heart. There is only one religion, the religion of Love. There is only one God, and He is Omnipresent."
Sathya Sai Baba

"The followers of each religion call upon the one God, who is Omnipresent and listens to their prayers, be they from whichever clime or clothed in whatever language. But it is the same God who confers upon all mankind health, prosperity, peace and happiness. No religion has a separate God showering Grace upon those who profess to abide by that faith alone."
Sathya Sai Baba

'As the air we breathe is of God's creation, and available to all, so the awareness of God and His power and mercy have to be available to all. True seekers on the spiritual path must hold on to this wide outlook and on the universality of this message. Then the conflict of disparate faiths and credos will disappear by itself, and peace and love will be restored on earth."
Sathya Sai Baba

Chanting the Lord's name (naamasmarana) is the panacea. It is the easiest path to God-realization. It is the boat that will take people across the ocean of mundane existence.
Sathya Sai Baba

The present age is described in the scriptures as very conducive to Liberation for, while in past Ages, rigorous penance was prescribed as the means, the present Kali Age requires only Namasmarana to win Liberation. When the Name of the Lord is remembered with all the Glory that is associated with It, a great flood of happiness wells up in the mind. The Lord is full of Bliss and in fact He is Bliss Itself. All this Bliss is to be tasted through the Name. Vyasa himself knew this, for when some sages once went to him to find out which Yuga is most conducive to success in man's efforts for Liberation, Vyasa anticipated their question and repeated to himself aloud, `How fortunate are those destined to be born in the Kali Yuga! It is so easy to win the Grace of the Lord by Namasmarana in the Kali Age.'

Please tell me what is the nature of this "grace" that the song seems to be about?

  • Sairam

It's by the Grace of God that you may know and experience the Power of the Divine Name.

Guru Nanak was the initiator of the practice of community singing of devotional songs. He believed that through such community singing, the common man can ennoble his life and experience the presence of the Divine in everyone. Uttering the name of the Lord, the fire principle will dispel the darkness of ignorance and the moon principle will cool the fevers arising ot of desires.

    Om Sai Ram

  • This is a reply to slave1119s comment.

I was raised Catholic and it will always be a part of who I am; however to think that one particular religion is the only way to salvation is unfortunate for you. This way of thinking will limit you in understanding who GOD is. Every single person on this earth is loved equally by GOD. Gods love is pure, all encompassing, and infinite. He would never only save some people and condemn the others.

    Namaste to Everyone 

  • Thanks for sharing this beautiful and inspiring video.

It's sad to read that the old Witch hunters who burned people alive for using healing herbs are still at it.

When will they ever learn that God=Love and purify themselves of their unclean spirits who condemn and judge the children of God!

  • This is true love!

  • Everyday I live in gratitude for the freedom to chant the Name. I seek spiritual teachings from a variety of paths and I know what resonates with me and what does not. It does not matter how you name the Essence - just chant it, experience that Grace. I was one in an audience of a few hundred, chanting this with Snatam Kaur, and the vibration of Grace in the concert hall was palpable. Amazing, yet humbling. Thank you, aadmia, for the beautiful posting. Light. Love. Peace.

  • Yeshua is the divine name

  • Sikhs believe that there is only one God. Ek Ong Kar. And many paths to worship. Why would someone not show these other paths. Who are we to say which path is correct? Guru Gobind Singh Ji, our final living Guru had it right when he put the Guru back into the word and no living Guru for us to bow down to. Wahe Guru. God loves us all. Let's all live in peace and harmony.

  • @nycballer4life is right--the first picture probably doesn't belong here. We don't judge or condemn, but need to have discernment; some 'saints' are not genuine. Do the research--there is clear video on the internet of this so-called Sai Baba faking his 'miracles'. One love, no hate. One TRUTH, no lies. One hope, one spirit. 'Peace to all, life to all, love to all' like this sweet song says.

  • you should gather information about sai baba...he is a deceiver..

  • kill illuminatti :-) where there is Light Darkness cannot stay, love not hate, there is only one
