i am a third generation firefighter and i give you not five stars but a ten. it isn't just the firefighters who get full credit but the families that must put up with their loved ones leaving their family so that they may save another endangered soul. this video also made me shed a few tears for the ones that never came home

when i read this in front of 200 firefighters and there families, i made them shed tears 2. i dedicated 2 my father. even though my uncle and brother is on the same fire company, i look up 2 my father.

I started out as a volunteer firefighter. Now a Paramedic, and Fire Marshal. Great job on the video. This actually hits very close to home for me. A little over 20 years ago, I too was involved in the rescue of a 12 year old girl from a suspicious house fire. Circumstances surrounding that fire's cause is why I now serve as Fire Marshal.

I remember sitting at the station, taking a walk in my fathers boots. Years past, I became the firefighter as well. I still remember the voices in the station, the pager going off in the middle of the night. As I climb out of bed in the early morning hours, listening to where the call is and grabbing my clothes to run out the door with my husband, I feel the little girl inside of me tugging on my dad's bunker pants in the station. I owe my life to that man, he made me the firefighter I am now...
