hi my name is ben watson i am 21 years old and i just got my MRI and i hav 3 to 4 prolapse discs in my lumbar spine i hav consistently got pain every second of every day i hav sleepless nights. the pain travels down both my legs i can not sit nor stand without bein in pain . next week i see a specialist my gp said tht i most likely hav to get surgery and even then the chance of it gettin better is slim so no matter wat look after ur back cos as i said i am only 21 ill never wrk again j

I have had a slipped disc 3 - 4 times. (had the MRI etc.) I put my back out over Christmas and have the usual lower back pain but thankfully no leg pain. (my hip has gone to one side a bit) I'm really not sure these days whether it's best to lie down and rest or try to walk in the moments when I feel better during the day? May I ask what your view is? Thanks
