@akukukaka 10 % ? seriously ? even in the worst case (Burkina faso) 11% of the population are fluent in french. According to MY sources 45% of the libanese population use and speak french in everyday and 32% english, so where is your arabic ? There is actually 18 billion true french speaker in america, next time take serious sources. There will be 750 billion of french speaker in 2050. But i feel like if i already said it ... please. less than 10% of the so called francophone africa can utter a word in french. English in africa on the other hand has a much brighter future. And people in lebanon speak arabic get over it. but lets just assume for the sake of the argument that 10% of the population in lebanon speaks french. that is less than a million in a continent of 4 billion people. let's go to america. quebec and a couple caribbean islands? 5 million people in a continent of almost a billion? lets be serious

And the most spoken language in Africa right now is French. The French develops there as a lingua franca and soon it will be the mother tongue, when all people have access to education they will learn French. @akukukaka Yes French is spoken in Asia (Libanon) Yes the french is spoken in america (Quebec, french guyana, haiti, st pierre et miquelon, guadeloupe) yes french is spoken in antarctic (French Southern and Antarctic Lands ) French is the only language with english spoken in every continent. None of the BRICS speak spanish? well they certainly dont speak french haha. and btw Brazil just passed a law that makes Spanish mandatory as a second language in schools, so there you go we got our BRIC. and the Spanish speaking population in the US will reach 100 million in 3 decades
