your aloud to wear glasses. But you sight needs to be within a certain range. Also if you go to ranger battalion they can pay for LASIK surgery. They try to help the problems if sight as much as they can.

Briselance, thanks for your reaction. Looks like you're from Louisiana, since redhibition is a Louisianan civil action. But no, of course it is not redhibitory. And Airborne Ranger training is amongst the toughest in the world. It is just that I didn't expect pre selection to allow people with spectacles in, since the spectacles themselves are a liability in certain circumstances. I know, because I wear some myself.
