@fabal26 Because she broke a shell that Kouta's sister gave him. She saw that it made him sad, so she broke it. But that made him mad, so she was digging it the sand to find a new one.

yes this anime ROCKS!, if u ignore the minor nudity and violence and see the whole story it is very touching and sad, with a powerful message :D and thx ^^
