  • he died 7 days before doctor who the movie?

  • @shawnhbkdx90 :( Yes he did... I always had hoped they'd shown him an advance copy...

  • If the first three actors that played the doctor were still alive and in good health I would like to seen them do a doctor who episode with all the dcotors

  • @Jamescs007 They recast the First Doctor for The Five Doctors in 1983... It would be an option for a massive multi Doctor story... but I think not... More likely if they did do something like that, would be using old footage... ala Trouble with Tribbles in Star Trek.

  • how did you keep this footage?(record it on your vcr at home and keep the tape?)..Thank You ever so much for uploading this.(r.i.p. John)

  • Yes, I taped it on VHS on the day he died. Same as the "TVTV" clips - was prepared due to foresight and sat ready with the remote to tape them...

Have a cupboard of footage I should really look through... (not all Doctor Who)

  • Ironic that the actors for The Doctor (two hearts) and dying from heart attacks :S

  • Hartnell passed from heart failure, Troughton and Pertwee from heart attacks. But you know what? I say they didn't die. None of them. They were all Time Lords! More than capable to survive silly human maladies and injuries! They just hopped away, each in their own TARDIS, and flew away for a while. No, they can't be dead. They'll be back. I mean, they all had two hearts. They had more than enough life, love and laughter to supply the whole planet with it for years and years to come.

  • "COLIN BAKER Reporting" ?!?!?!? ;)

  • He was a great actor. RIP.

  • They'd never let an older person play lead, these days. Everyone is morbidly obsessed with being "cool".

  • Jon Pertwee, Here's to you. Out all of the 11 doctors, You are the best. May you Travel with your TARDIS forever.

  • @thecosmichobo He Also died three days after i was born!

  • i will put a pack of jelly babys ontop his grave

  • @Dubzoomember yes but dammit i've got nothing planned for the next 60 years of my life. i WILL make this happen

  • @227060

That's the way it is and always will be. You can't really explain to people ' Doctor Who is the name of the show, not the name of the hero, except that time in The War Machines and a couple of slightly more ambiguous occasions, one of them in German and of course the end titles up to Season 18 and again in Christopher Eccleston's 2005 season. Am I making myself clear?' every time they call him Doctor Who. Well, I suppose you could but it'd take up a lot of time.
