Miranda has spent most of her life avoiding being set up by her mother Penny. Old school pal Tilly sets her up on a blind date with an army doctor friend, Dreamboat Charlie. The date doesn't go quite to plan and so Penny insists on throwing a party to introduce Miranda to a suitable man.

@itsallabouthejourney no, you have a majority of people who don't know her, than a little part of people who know her and think she's funny, and a reaalllly small group of people like you who like to spread the miranda-hate for some reason. and the itsallaboutthejourney-hate as well. although i must admit, it's a good name.

Sure, some people like the show, others don't. No problem with that. Haven't got a problem with anyone voicing an opinion either. What I don't get is that people who don't like a show are spending their time looking up said show on youtube. Surely you would rather be watching something else?
