Extreme cigarette health warning labels are soon find their way on cigarette boxes. This scare campaign uses disturbing imagery of the health implications brought on by smoking.
I'm sorry if you thought my previous comment was rude. Sorry. :) Love these health channels and I'm really pushing the ultimate in a healthy lifestyle. :) cya
@mrmcnasty90 Interesting take! I absolutely agree we need to amp up the education. And your note about the job market is a valid point... we all have priorities, just don't sell your health short!
@a32938 Congratulations on quitting! It's a difficult vice to break, I'm sure. But it's never too late to start a healthy lifestyle, that's one of the ideas we try to get across at IH. I'm so happy to hear you take something away from these videos! :)
@KBWalleston - I personally think it's an amazing idea. I am so happy I stopped smoking. I just turned 24 and I started when I was 18 and stopped after I believe 1-2 years. How old are you Kimberly? I look my age... I think. Your breath taking. I love all your interesting information about living a healthy lifestyle. Right on girl! :p
I would argue that saying "cancer" and SEEING cancer are two different things. It might not be as easy to brush off the potential risks if they're staring you in the face... literally!
It depends on how you look at it. From a person with a family of smokers, seeing the pain it causes daily this may seem like a good idea, but honestly schools should be responsible overall for the education, and parents for that matter. I'm sure by the age that you'd want to start smoking you understand the implications but regardless of labels people think they are invincible. This will only serve to hurt tobacco companies, which provide JOBS folks... Besides, nobody lives forever.
