Steve Trash visits Dr. Evermor's Forevertron near Baraboo, Wisconsin

My friend Rob (who works as MELVIN - THE WACKY WHEELER in parades and fairgrounds) has known Dr. Evermor for years. Every time we got together for a show, Rob would say to me, "we should go see Dr. Evermor". I'd say, "sounds cool". But for at least 7 or 8 years, we never seemed to find the time. Well last summer we were BOTH working the Wisconsin State Fair and we both found the time. Dr. Evermor's Art Park is was one of the most amazing places I've ever been in my life. He was an industrial scrap guy that began building fantastical creatures out of his scrap and it grew into this magical sculpture garden that's really difficult to describe. I put together some of my photos into a slide show to give you an idea. The guy is a genius.
