  • Calling this rig "high-end" just proves that you know nothing about computers. An E8200 is the cheapest E8XXX series chip available, and you're using the junk that intel gave you to cool it. Then you're using an 8800GT, when the 8800GT is obsolete. I use an 8800GT right now, but only for PhysX. I have 2 GTX 260s in SLi, an E8400 at 4.2Ghz, 4Gb Crucial Ballistix Tracers @ 3-3-3-12 902Mhz.....and that rig's mid-range at best. This is a low-end enthusiast rig. Get a T.R.U.E. then oc it.

  • Can U read? It`s rig from January 2008 - then was only e8200!!! - for real it`s better than e8400 (i have seen tests!). Better choice is e8500 or `600w

Today I updated my pc in second 88GT, 4GB RAM, and new CPU cooler - it`s enough for gaming. Next update -> change my SLI to GT300 (Autumn).

P.S Maybe you can see new rig with core i7 soon.

  • low to mid range

  • lol Can U Read?

    BTW. Now i`ve

    Intel C2D e8200 @ 3,6 GHz (better than e8400 in Crysis )

    2x 8800GT @ 750mhz core

    2x 1GB (i`ll buy next 2 gigs or 2x2gb)

PC in video was bought in January 2008 ;/ I was waiting only for e8200 ;) -> high end ;D

  • people really need to look at the dates these movies are posted. Your computer setup can go from Super high-end down to low to mid-range in less than a year. Computer tech just changes way to fucking fast. Good comp based on the fact that you got it in Jan. 08.

  • thanks for your comment. Now in the same price i can get really better pc. Technology changes very fast in this time ;( In 2001 i had pc for 8 000 PLN (aprox. 4 000 $). Now isn`t cost-effective buying super extra comp. Soon i`ll make video with LED`s ;)

  • lol at jodellstasic learn to read. And no one asked for your specs dude, no one cares. What is it with all these elitest nerds coming on peoples gaming PC videos bashing them than plastering their specs all over the place? give me a break.

  • lol

    high end

    'foxconn'

  • As for you.....a Xeon uses the LGA775 socket, as with all current chips that aren't using the Nehalem architecture. An E3110 is just a better binned version of the E8400 made to run 24/7. Okay?

  • xeon e3110 is a rebadge e8400 they have no difference

  • Xeon's are for servers only.

Also depends what your using the PC for.

    Gaming = E8400

    Multitasking/Power User = Q6600

The Q6600 they don't really sell anymore anyways.

  • nice pc i have e4500 and i will upgrade it to xeon e3110 or e8400

  • get a e8400 or e8500 or xeon e3110 better than q6600

  • i7 didnt just barely come out?..
