She was a truly amazing Woman! In my eyes, she was a great, if not the greatest heros that the World has seen...I don't want to take away any significance from

other people who saved others in desperate circumstances...however, the numbers speak for themselves...She remained a humble woman till the day she departed this Earth journey. Huge respects have to be paid to those students of rural Kansas, who re-discovered Irena's story!! I would like to meet them someday. They should be proud!!!!

A remarkable woman who's actions were truly worthy of a Nobel Prize. But this story is a prime example of just how phoney the Nobel prizes have gotten. Al Gore won the prize over Ms. Sendler with his BS story of global warming, which has been proven wrong on many levels. Add to his prize the fact that Obama won also and I think you can conclude that the Nobel prizes aren't worth ten cents and are a huge discredit to Mr. Nobel and his generous funding of the prizes as his legacy.
