Television commercial advertising the release of the Carpenters album "Lovelines," (1989). It was the last album of the Carpenters to be released in the vinyl LP format.
@bartolemeo Well, surely "Lovelines" has Karen's solo songs. But there are also Carpenters's unreleased songs in that album (so it wasn't truly a Karen's album). One example? Honolulu City Lights, recorded in 1978, the year before Richard had decided to go on hiatus and Karen started to record her solo album. "Karen Carpenter", the album you've commented, was released only in 1996, 16 years after recording and 13 years after Karen's death, 7 years after "Lovelines".

This was Karen's solo album.....not a Carpenters song. The album is brilliant. It was her and Phil Ramone.
