"bread and meat" is not an Italian diet.... In Italy Italians most of the time eat red meat probably once a month , white meat no more then twice a week and there every day diet is usuraly bread, pasta, fruits vegetables and legumes n oliveoil .....in Australia thats where people eat alot of meat like every night for dinner..

You could have lots of sprouted legumes on your salads too, lentils and mung beans are really good. Sprouting legumes vastly increases the bioavailability of the protein and nutrients in them and makes them much easier to digest :-)

I like that you gave someting specific that improves the way you feel. I'd like even more detail. What kind of exercise? How do you feel before and after?
Healing crisis is likely to be unique to the persons' healing needs. It depends on deficiencies, how toxic you are, or ANY problems.....and your past and present lifestyle.

O's are traditionally meat eaters, but I've read stories of very successful raw O's. Check out 'raw vegan family' I think the hubby is O and he is huge (lots of muscles). It may be more important to be high protein which you can do with things like hemp and bee pollen in smoothies :)
