@TheBigMagicalUnicorn They cost around $3K and you would have to contact the artist William P. Parker, who lives in Waitsfield, Vermont, or an associate of his with a YouTube username Lightningman2 to get this image. The sculpture is called "Sleepless Nights"

@apapalonglong I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but my understanding is that these sculptures were designed for audience participation, and because they are made from luminous gas and appear to have a lot of "personality" and varied movement, they can evoke a very strong emotional response in some people.
Kool, it seems to be expensive, though ...

@HorizonDelta Wayne Strattman with Strattman Design in Boston has been known to make similar globes for around $1K. The Bill Parker pieces have a variable-frequency driver, contain multiple images, and can be programmed to sweep through a whole range of different "looks" and power settings by the owner. Most other globes are fixed-frequency, and have to be adjusted by hand to show different version of the same basic image.

@combatplayer I'm sorry but none of the sculptures featured in the online exhibit are for sale, especially the Bill Parker pieces.
