    The edges of the fabric is also called the "selvage". It is where the fabric is hooked to the machine that looms or weaves it together when it's first made. :D

    No you don't sew the blankets. That's why it's a tie blanket. Never thought of using clothes pins. I just sit mine on the floor and do them in about 30 minutes
