Raking hay with a very safe three wheeled forcart, and the young bays. I crossed a steep ditch and a wash out and the front wheel didn't even bounce, the wash out was wider than the wheel so I guess being thrown into the horses every time you hit a hole is B.S.

  • i used to have a 3 wheeled cart but i modified it to 4 wheel.

  • I have built some for a few that had row crops but they don't turn like three wheel and if you don't use auto steering then the pole can swing on ruff ground, the last few were rubber tired wagons that we shortened up and put a hitch and box on it with a platform for the seat

  • That cart looks like it works very well. I would sure like to have a set of plans for one, Thankyou

  • that's nice but isn't it too heavy?i have only one horse , a stallion ,not too big but very angry and damn he likes to work.....

  • Hi Neil. love your stuff. Just had a hell of a wreck with a 2 wheel cart today. Im tore up pretty bad(road rash)and my brother in law has a broken wrist and toe. Shave loop broke and things got ugly. Could i get the plans for your three wheeler cart? wouldnt have happened if we had a front wheel.

  • Okay, I'll pm you. Thanks!

  • if you like I can send you plans and you one made!

  • Well we had distemper go through about 5 years ago. nothing skinny since

  • Oh yes like CDE. But that is different then from what you are doing. But I sure would like one around our ranch to at least get them pulling something like that and no dust in my face LOL.

  • Oh and that was horses, twenty head LOL.

  • What are they usually sick with or have you had them tested. I know it cost alot, but was just wondering so I would know. Usually we have alot of sand to deal with, that is what causes a our horse to go down on there weight or we need to just float them.
