  • The plane is really a 40cc size. I love DL and DLE, the 50cc was a great motor and I used a pitts style muffler. Its floats too well and will do anything you could imagine. I would recommend glueing the top wing together. The tabs are weak that bolt to the center struts and mine cracked lose after a few flights. I used 30 minute epoxy and bonded them together. Ed Clarke bugged me until I sold it to him, his phone is 205-706-0217.

  • Do you like the DL50 ???

  • It seems to be one of the best engines I seen. I have had and have a 50cc, 55cc, 100cc and 2-111cc. Most of the planes we have are DL or DLE

  • That was nice if gentle flying. I'd be curious to know if it holds up to more violent aerobatics, flat inverted spins, walls, tumbles, snaps, knife edge loops and spins, etc...? I'm thinking of getting one of these. It looks like it wants to fall too quickly on landing. I was hoping for a more floaty landing.

  • does this ultiate hover well
