  • featuring Miller Anderson on guitar who went on to join T Rex in the mid 70s.

  • The Choc Soup comps got quite harsh response from some people out there back then - wrong speed, being distorted dubbed from 45s, no royalities paid etc. But they paved the way for the freakbeat retro scene and when Brian Hogg and Phil Smee did a 'proper' job (corrected speed, mastertapes, royalities paid etc.) releasing the tracks and many more in the same vein on their fab Bam Caruso Records, everything was hunky dory again. And yet, I dig those old CSFD bootlegs as well, they rock big time!

  • is the Truth song anywhere ? wonderful !
