The murder of Veronica Guerin

So this is a video about the murder of the Irish journalist Veronica Guerin. I don't know if you guys have seen the movie, but if you don't, just take a look, it's reeeeeeally impressive. It's the kind of movie that drives you mad. You know, like The Wind That Shakes The Barley.

Well, anyway, having watched this movie, I felt kind of wanting to have a rant, so there is the end of the movie Veronica Guerin by Joel Schumacher, with Cate Blanchett as the title role, when Veronica is finally murdered by the drug dealers. I find this scene very moving. Watching this, you can't help thinking of all these journalists who are currently being killed just for bringing information... Well done, Humanity.

The same happened in Brazil with one of our judges. Her name was Patricia Accioli and she was murderer with 21 shots by military officers who were being investigated for corruption.

in the funeral scene around about 4.20 mark you can see the actor who played gerry 'the monk' hutch in the background attending veronica's funeral, surely this did not happen in real life?? he was a criminal who veronica at one point in the film accued of being thhe man responsible for shooting her, i cannot find any information which states he attended or did not attend but as a career criminal i think it must be a mistake
