TrueCommunist some tit has given a minus to your remark. Marxist Connolly, commended by Lenin in 1917. The green nationalists backed by the churches have always hated communism. Equality for all with no ruling elite frightens them. That's why Blaney & Haughey (millionaires)sent weapons to the north and the provo's split.The green nationalists Kelly McKie McStoiffan were horrified by socialism. Now Connolly is dead Irish bourgeois can afford him hero status. He never hid that he was a Marxist.

god bless James Connolly, from a Scotsman, if he never done what he did for Scotland, then the only other country i give acceptions for is Ireland. although i have 'rfc' in my name im not a unionist. im a nationalist and i hope to see a scottish republic. learned alot about irish history, from pearse n connolly, to mick collins. i support a united ireland also

Noone who ever graced the gaols or paid the ultimate sacrafice in the long struggle for Irish Freedom, was ever conscripted to fight for that goal. Every man & woman gladly volunteered regardless of the consequences they may have faced and not disregarding rank they fought side by side as equals. James Connolly was a socialist and would never have asked a mere mortal to do something he wasn't prepared to do himself.
