  • hey Natalie! Your makeup looks SO good here! So good. It's very true about the 224 and 217. I kind of gave up on 224 for blending, just doesn't do it for me, but for lighter colors is true it can work fine.. With 217, I feel like if I dont want to make the shape or color disappear so much, I just have to hold it on the end of the handle..The application/blending gets much softer. You're a pleasure to watch and hope I can watch all your videos very soon. And that you keep making them:) Love, xxx♥

  • @Kashoppingbag I used your tip this morning (holding the end of the handle), and wondered why I never thought of that!! ha ha It worked so well, THANK YOU Karine!! HUGE HUGS

  • @Kashoppingbag PS You have me beat, I only have three 217 brushes! ha ha

  • wow, this was a great video. thank you!!! i have so much trouble blending too!

so many of the dark crease colors can be harsh looking.

  • @engelneen Thanks for saying so..... I'm not ready for tutorials, so I hoped someone would "get" what the heck I was trying to say! ha ha

  • Do you put the soft brown all over as a base shadow, and then build your colors over top of that, and then use the soft brown again to blend? I have blending troubles - LOL - always looking for a good tip! Thanks~~

  • @vondl0 Yes, that's exactly what I do. I find with a darker crease color it's hard to get that soft blended look. This has helped me tremendously. Using the Soft Brown or a lighter color to blend gives me that soft transition.

  • @cindadee I'm so glad it helped a little!! Brushes can make all the difference!

  • Hi Natalie. I'm a new subscriber and wanted to thank you for this video. I too have some of the same issues with my eyes and love to use darker colors but don't want a concentration of them so will definitely try different brushes. Thanks!
