Yes folks, the 111th congress, only in office for one week, is already showing their unconstitutional stripes. Spread this information! Favorite, feature, make your own vid about this, I don't care!

Illinois Representative Bobby Rush has proposed a draconian federal gun registration bill that would make outright confiscation very easy to implement. Clearly this is just step A.

To all those living in swing states, have a republican representative, or a moderate/conservative democrat representative better move on this double time!

Unfortunately, it would simply be a waste of energy for myself, as I have rabidly gun-hating senators and a rabidly gun-hating representative...

***It's rather ironic that one of the links is to Hannity's forums, who I absolutely despise...lol, but hey, if it gets it out there...***

  • good video. if they want to ban the right of people to defend themselves i think that king Obama's security army should be completely un-armed.

  • No, that would just make too much logical sense. ;)

  • speaking of logic isn't it interesting how our "assault" rifles are the first thing to go whenever anti-gun legislation is passed.

seeing as how they are only used in about 4% of crimes, it doesn't make much since to ban them to lower crime. They are targeted because there the greatest treat to the government. Get ready, soon the neo-con's will be screaming for gun control too. Theyll will say it will "lower Terrorism" or so bullshit people will buy.

  • Yes, that is absolutely correct. And I can't stand these pricks talking about the need to renew the "Assault Weapons Ban." First of all, they aren't true assault rifles since they aren't selective fire. Secondly, the first "AWB" merely changed a few cosmetic features of the weapons targeted and never truly banned the guns from being sold.

Unfortunately I live in a city and state that hates guns, but I want to get a .223 or 30-06 rifle, as well as a couple of .45s, gonna be hard to do :(

  • LOL battle ground state? I'm behind enemy lines in San Francisco, Commiefornia!

  • Well, it probably doesn't mean shit to you to call either then, lol. Your reps would most likely tell you to fuck off because they are so enlightened on guns...

  • Evaluate your options for a minute.

First, you could support whomever is opposed to the proposal. That means you give your personal, moral sanction for him to do whatever he likes. Even beyond the obvious theft and murder, he's going to try and turn his own, grandiose dreams into brutal impositions.

Or, you could speak your moral outrage. Talk to the people in your life. Live your own values, and cherish what little freedom you have, because it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

  • hey GUARDOFLIBERTY: thanks for the heads up i got my guns and from the words of C. Heston "FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS MR. OBAMA" i got my guns DO U?

  • Hey, My NC congressman is also Shuler. We have to let them know we're not standing for any more Gun Legislation. I've been in contact with his office by letter and you need to do the same. They ant to be re-elected and will bend to an outry. Thanks for the video!

  • yes, the restrictions on cosmetic features like collapsible stocks and bayonets is downright stupid, banning a knife on a gun is a oxymoron. And a ban on collapsible stocks when Concealable handguns are readily Available is extermly redundant. The one thing it did do is jack the price way up, puting them out of the price range of the average law abiding citizen whilst staying in the range of well funded criminal gangs and cartels.(who get them illegally anyway)

  • I find it interesting that they are so concerned with controlling firearms at a time when our economy is on a downfall. Can anyone see they're using this time as a golden opportunity? First the 2nd, then the 1st. I guarantee it.
