To me the painting looks like Jim Henson and Frank Oz mixed together.Also at 2:49 you can see Frank Oz's head at the right-hand corner

I love the casual spontaneity of Ernie and Bert in the early days. (I miss it, actually.)

Yeah. Jim and Frank really had something special when they performed Ernie and Bert. Steve and Eric do a great job as E&B nowdays, but no puppeteer can replicate the magic Jim and Frank had.
