Before I do my splits I always lift my legs up into the air or prop them up against something and stretch towards them. I recommend this for everyone. I have been trying to grab my leg in the back and touch it to my head for a couple of weeks with mixed success.

guys she is teaching us!
shes just showing us the out come. look at what shes doing carefully.
for example the split. go little by little day one, stretch out as far as you can. then each day slowly try to go a little but farther. within a couple of weeks you'll be able to do it. so stop telling her that shes not showing you how.

@byellowrobe23 You practice. If you practice everyday with warmups for 20 minutes each time you practice, you might get it very quickly. It depends on the person. I got my splits in 2 weeks with devotion and patience. Don't push yourself farther down than you can; you're putting yourself at risk for injury. Wear clothes that can move with you. Once you have gotten your splits, practice EVERYDAY unless you want to loose it. I lost mine a bit because I couldn't practice. Work BOTH legs. Good luck!
